Mud creek washout at 21.5 has been temporarily repaired, access still blocked as there is ANOTHER washout at 22.5 which they have yet to repair. They have equipment and material on site to complete the repair of washout no.2 and I saw that dirtbikers rigged up a ramp of sorts, if you’re skilled enough you can probably get through the second washout on a dirtbike but it looks like they are actively repairing the road.

My guess is they have equipment/contracts past 21.5 and as such are temporarily repairing the road to regain access. Others have correctly stated this would be the only reason the permit holder would even bother repairing the road as public access isn’t their concern, so there you go. I am hopefully wrong but my guess is they have no interest in allowing the public over their patchjob, they will probably retrieve their gear or resources for a few weeks and block the road off again. Please update if I am incorrect on their intentions to open it to the public.

logging is planned in a number of blocks. I've heard that the crossing could be open for the duration, potentially a few months.
