The start of this road was torn up and logs dropped across it for deactivation but I was able to push through. After around the 0.5km mark there is no chance to make it through there on anything other than foot.

It was a bit tricky but there was actually only one major problem heading up that first part and it was a giant tree that lay across the whole "road" so I had to chainsaw it in the middle and then winch it off my path. It was sorta fun but a total waste of time as I didn't realize the road basically disappears long before the spot I was trying to reach, so I was still hiking it anyway.

Sounds like a worthwhile adventure all the same! I couldn’t ever get my truck into the places you go. Looks like you need a fair bit of skill and equipment to boot
