Stopped by snow and ice at 730 m. My map says it was 48% grade where I almost slid off the road when I tested the grip of my Continental TerrainContact AT tires from a dead stop. I could probably get up with momentum, but won't be fun coming back down. Turned around. Not an issue when gravel sticks out of the snow, but it's slippery when you hit a patch with no gravel.

Only drove up to the turnoff to "Ramp Rock" (WD2760) but it was no problem in a Crosstrek. Not sure what the road is like beyond that. There's a good parking spot for 1 car just after the turnoff at 49.28516, -121.81384 if one wishes to hike "Mt. Harrison," Mt. Agassiz & "Mt. Agassiz West Peak".

HC 4x4 required. Lots of cross ditches, near the end they are fairly deep; road becomes very narrow. Some maps show this road connecting to McCallum Rd in Agassiz, it does not!
