Road Bulletins
Logging company has been plowing the road with a bulldozer to open it up. Washouts have been fixed. Deep and loose soil currently so 4x4 recommended until they inevitably grade it for logging trucks.
Part of the road is behind a locked gate. It can be reached by other roads coming in from Archibald and the Kelly mountain side. However, between Kelly mountain and the highway is two washouts, one of which is not passable in a 4wd anymore.
The road is gated just off the highway and the land is owned by ATCO. I've attempted to get a key but have not been successful. Road is not accessible to public without coming at it from another entrance, but then you would have to back track out again.
