Made it to 6 km, the branch on the right of the cross ditch at 3.5 which was always heavily degraded and overgrown is being worked on and has been heavily cleared, made it to 6k in a 4x4 pickup until I hit heavy debris that they have yet to clear. Looks like they are dozing snow and debris clear of the road in preparation to grade it and build access for something up there. Must be logging again.
Thanks for the updates Leif! If you have the cutblock layer on the map you'll see there's a new one near the end of the road. I'd hazard a guess that's what they're logging too.
