Gets down to 1.5 lane size in the more remote reaches, but in good shape all the way through. Came through from Likely, good AWD conditions all the way through. I honestly thought it would feel more remote with more views, but was disappointed in this regard. Good travel though.
No problem F, happy to give back to the site that helped me plan my trip. Is there any way to darken/indicate non-FSR roads to make planning a loop easier? For example, the Keithley Creek Rd (which is an FSR in all but name) to link the Horsefly-Likely route to the Likely-Barkerville road?
Hey Ian, for roads which are not created/managed by the ministry of forests they usually only appear on the underlying basemaps. I will look to see if there's a better map layer I can use as I agree that would be useful. In the meantime, I've drawn in Keithley Creek Road and I can add in any others at your suggestion as well
Hi Francis, is there any appetite for adding a layer to show FN reserve lands? It would be good to be able to see where one is traveling on lands with additional reason for care and attention.
This is likely quite doable, although I’m not super well versed on the different First Nations land “types” eg treaty land vs. Reserves. Nonetheless I’ll see what I can find and incorporate it as a layer! Good timing as I will be putting a survey out soon for feature requests
