Road is in good condition up the the railroad grade crossing at railroad MP 60.3, FSR KM 19. Road is occasionally used by pickup trucks supporting the mine, and railroad between KM 0 and 19. East of that railroad crossing the foliage encroaches over the road surface to about the width of a passenger vehicle for about 0.5 km. Further east from there, culverts have been removed at all of the stream and creek crossings, requiring a vehicle with very good approach, departure, and breakover angles. My stock 5th gen 4Runner partially laden was able to just clear them. After the third stream crossing/removed culvert the foliage encroachment over the road got so bad that proceeding any further would result in paint scratches. Travel west beyond that point would be possible with ATV/UTV or Dirt Bike for now.

The road very good to the coal mine. After the mine, the road continues but is deactivated about 0.5km after the mine (18km). The road is in extreme condition after that. We drove a stock Jeep Rubicon JL to about 50km (took about 4hrs). The main bridge has been removed over the Wolverine river and is about 30in deep at low flow. All the culverts have been removed and you need high approach and departure angles to clear them.
