Some sections are steep and rocky, with loose, pointy volcanic rocks. Parts of the road are overgrown with thick brush, which will pinstripe your vehicle. I attempted to drive this road back to Squamish. Although it appears to connect in Gaia and should come out at the Powerhouse Road, I remembered midway through that the gate is usually locked at the Powerhouse, so I turned around, at Blindside Connection trail. Pass Blindside Connection Trail the road becomes heavy degraded going around the switch back down to the Mamquam powerhouse. Deep loose rocky ruts, several large rocks have also fallen in the road at this point. This is where I turned around.
Any 4x4 with high clearance will handle this road.
Snow started at 450 m, with about 5 to 10 cm at 600 m.
