Great condition until the 45.5km mark at the Dianne Lake Main. Logging traffic expected up until 41km mark, BR-1B seems to be active again. Two short rough sections past the climbers camp but manageable by a 2wd.
The stretch from Lang Bay to the Spring Lake Main is in great condition, easily 2WD accessible. No logging activity or closures as of this post, but that may change.
Heavy logging activity with hauling in both directions (including weekends according to a trucker). Note that this road has a custom frequency (ie not an RR channel) and a one-way section, see WFP (forestry company) website for info on this and maps https://www.wfproadinfo.com/powell-river.html
The road is totally fine up to Goat lake for a 2WD. To get to climbers camp the road has a few spots in which I am not sure you could pass with just any 2wd. After climbers camp the road just gets worse and worse, and would require 4wd access. After the center lakes turn off it is almost not worth continuing with a vehicle, unless you have a small high clearance 4x4, as there is really not any good place to turn around. It is better with a quad.
