Road Bulletins
Rough but just about doable in an SUV (a 4WD would have been more comfortable) up until an impassable washout at around 0.5km. No trouble turning around and parking off to the side just before the washout.
The washout is still in the same condition as reported below in 2023. A decent clearance AWD with a capable driver could still make it to this washout, but there isn't really anywhere to pull aside. Best to park a few hundred m down and hike/skin up.
