F Road seems to be the most active road in the research forest so keep that in mind when coming through. The only way you can get into this forest with a vehicle is if you're staying at the resort @ Loon Lake, otherwise you're going to be on foot exploring these roads. F Road is in pristine condition for foot and vehicle traffic and it experiences quite a lot. I've used it as my return road when hiking in the research forest when I hiked to F40 after a trip to Marion Lake with a friend. Last time I was out here was about 6 months ago. Not much to write home about.
