Road has a few decent waterbars to navigate but saw a number of SUVs high up so seem manageable (we were in a truck). Mostly alder free, the higher up you go, the more errant alder branches trying to pin stripe but in general the road is in good shape. As of May 4 could drive to 900m (good camp spot), but it's only a small snow patch and probably could have driven right to the end of the road if had put chains on based on how little snow remained.
