Drove all the way to kilometer 16. After the Viola Lake area around kilometer 12 the road is completely overgrown. Despite that the road bed was intact and we managed to plow our way to a clearing at 16km. We walked the remainder on the following day and it’s no worse than the previous section. I did lose the housing on my mirror as a sacrifice to the alder gods

No way! They are disappointingly expensive I've found out hahah

can you buy it separately? tacoma you have to buy an entire new mirror 🫤

You can buy the grey panel on the top half of the mirror separately for about $90. I tried that initially and only realized after that the alder also broke off a bunch of the lower half that the replacement cover did not fit over. So now I will sadly have to do the whole mirror which is not cheap
