Cayoosh bridge barricade Downton Creek FSR 3:00PM 20FEB2024
Barricade blocks are far apart-probably passable for an F250. Look like they may have been set by a crane-equipped hwys truck. Question is : Is Downton subject to a seasonal open/closed policy?

Thanks for the report Michael! As far as I know, it's not subject to any seasonal closures! The two closest seasonal closure zones are in Texas Creek and Haylmore Creek
If you're curious all affected roads can be found here: https://www.bclaws.gov.bc.ca/civix/document/id/complete/statreg/196_99. I didn't see Downton listed anywhere
I actually live in Texas Creek and was in Downton/Cottonwood before the roads. There is a lot of politics in the mix and much of it originates from the Merritt office.
Oh very interesting! I only just found out about the closure when adding these zones into the map. From what I've seen it hasn't been very well received by many
