[From Andrew Enns] - We parked at approximately 750 meters, right before the the road deteriorates into a quad trail which could only be driven another 170 meters until there's a deep ditch. We then walked up the old road until 1057 meters, where we headed into the (old growth) forest to try to gain the ridge. The alder is pretty nasty for about a 1.2 KM stretch from 900 meters to 1040 meters, where there is enough snow to keep it covered. The alders prior to that point are either non-existent (surprisingly) or minimal before this. After 1040 meters, there is nice, continuous supportive snow covering the rest of the road section.

Confirming deep cross ditch between the end of cut block and 4.5 km. Road was doable in my Pilot Trailsport up to here. There's just enough room to turn around at the cut block.
