Road washing out like this in several places.
Good condition until Khartoom campground. somewhat degraded for the next 1km. Heavily degraded past here.

Are people still able to drive to the end of Khartoum Lake or it becomes impossible at some point?

Yes, I would say it is good condition to the campground, then degraded along Khartoum until it reaches a washout of the road about 1/2 km past the start/end of the lake. Quad road from there.

At the end of the road shown, it starts up a valley, which is a separate road known as "good hope road". Third lake road does still continue here up along the valley floor and around Mt. Diadem
