[From Matt Juhasz] - Road is maintained to 2wd condition and google navigates to the trailhead correctly. I only had to use 4x4 because of a few snow patches and some soft sinking mud (on the recently thawed sections of road). Within a couple weeks this won’t be a problem and the road will be firm and smooth.
