Hiked into the north end from Kananaskis Lakes, so didn't actually drive any of the road, but saw two pickup trucks arriving at the end at Lower Elk Lake, so the road must still be passable and survived the nearby flooding at the end of June that caused substantial damage in the Canmore/Kananaskis area.

Drove up all the way to elk lakes. A bit of pot holes, a little rough but saw people driving their nice SUVs driving up.

Drove the road up to round prairie. Good condition. You can fly. Didn’t drive any further than that.

Decent condition to Elk Lakes PP. If Canfor is logging it is butter smooth, if they are not it is pot holed and a bit rough.
