As previously mentioned, road is in great condition until the last 2km. There's a steep hill with large holes and rocks. After that section the road is very chill. Requires a truck or skilled driver.
Road was 2WD-friendly until the final 2km. Steep & very rocky for a kilometer from 2WD parking area then okay again for final 1km to trailhead. Rocks were big enough that they could do damage if you don't have skid plates or enough clearance and take the wrong line. Was surprised & impressed to see a Toyota Highlander made it to the end but the rest of the vehicles were trucks. Plenty of chicken wire around.
