How much high clearance? Stock wrangler/gladiator height make it up pretty easy other than maybe being over grown?

Depends what year Wrangler we are talking, and if it is Rubicon trim. A modern stock Rubicon should have no problem. A stock TJ non-rubicon will have some difficulty for example.
