I was going in reverse direction, but great condition to roughly 11 km. Steep, still has deep ruts and erosion going to lake. Likely need AWD and medium clearance. Compacted dirt. AWD fighting for traction going up in a spot or 2, so maybe 2WD will struggle. Off-camber hairpin going up around 13.5, but I think I picked a better line coming down and it was fine. Made it to Lodestone Lake.
Main FSR from Coalmont is great. Fully maintained. Offshoot up to the lake is in poor condition. Steep, ruts, erosion. I tried riding my adventure bike up and turned around about 4 km after leaving the main road.
