There is a gate at the start, it's dummy locked so if you go. Maybe keep it looking dummy locked. It also cuts through pretty close to people's homes so go slow otherwise they might get pissed off and just lock it themselves. Drove the road 12km for my Cloudraker spur. Pretty much anything with abit of clearance can get this far. Updated the spur road as well.

Drove the road until the washout on the creek directly south of Intern Ridge (past the end of the segment shown). Gate exists but is open at beginning. Numerous large rocks have fallen off the cutbank but have been cleared for a 1 ton truck. Cut several trees that had fallen but road bed is in good condition.

Active logging on road. Gate wide open. No boulders on road. All bridges passable.

There is a gate at the start of Rogers Creek FSR but it was closed but not locked. So we opened it and then reclosed it. A Honda CRV made it to 510m el. or about 4.8km from the main road. There we encountered some medium to large boulders that had fallen onto the road. A winch system should be able to move them or maybe a bunch of guys with a pry bar leverage system but we couldn't squeeze the CRV thru. 3 week later we came back with dirt bikes and got by the boulders, encountred a washed out bridge that people have put alot of work into making a rock bridge across, and after that the road is in driveable condition to the end with some minor encroachment of of branches. Barely any water bars after the first initial 5km. Good access for Shields Peak and Cloudraker.
