We were hoping to drop the dirtbike off further up this road for the end of our traverse but only managed to drive it to the end of the yellow 1050m before hitting a wall of alder. At then of our traverse we walked out the whole road and it's swimming in alder. The good news is there was some new flagging in the forest below Fraser Peak so they will probably fix up the road to log this valley again. Walking over 3km of alder wasn't too bad, it's still thin enough to push thru but it's dense. Sections of road would be open for a nice break tho.
