Road Bulletins
Road to 19.5km is in good shape. Pomerleau's gate is still locked restricting access to Allouette lake FSR. Very little parking options, if you're trying to hike onto the trailhead.
Road in good condition to 20km gate. Any vehicle can make it. Logging activity seen and work happening on the road after the 20km gate. Apparently gate is left open during the day. One car had been locked in when we arrived at 5:30AM. Not worth the risk in my opinion to go through the gate. Car was still locked in when we left at 7pm.
No change from previous reports. Road is very smooth for maybe the first 8-10 kms then gets a little rougher in places but should be drivable in most any vehicle.
Still gated at ~ 19.5 km (390 m elevation), plus 2 more gates beyond (on spur down which leads to Robie Reid trailhead). Not much room for parking at gate.

Drove as far as R100 towards Rolley Peak. Lots of potholes but still 2WD accessible to this point
Drove all the way to the gate that Chris mentioned and I can confirm it's still there. I happened to drive in right before the Pomerlau team arrived and asked them how long the gate would be around. They were quite vague but it sounded like a few months at least while they are working on the BC hydro plant. Why they couldn't set the gate up just beyond the Robie Reid Trailhead is another question. Florence Lake FSR is otherwise in normal shape. Lots of pot holes, but no other noteworthy issues.
A gate was added to Florence lake FSR by Pomerleau contracting, 500m before the turn off to the Robie reid trailhead/ parking area.
