Eureka Creek FSR - Bulletin
Eddy Van Der Kloot reported on: Apr 14, 2024
Boulder across the road at ~640m elevation, quickly followed by a large washout. This would be passable in a quad or dirt bike, but not a truck. Road up to that point was easily passable in a Subaru Forester, but somewhat degraded.

We took ebikes up past the washout to ~1000m elevation on the EC5000 (which does not end where shown on this site but actually continues up to the lake below Silver Peak at 1600m) where we hit snow. Snow was mostly continuous from that point on (skis off twice) but melting out rapidly.

Thanks for the report Eddy! I've added an impasse roughly where you stated. I've also fixed EC5000, so that it extends all the way to the lake. Besides the impasse was the road in decent condition?
The blockage is at approx 49.3266, -121.4505. Up to there it was steep and loose with some deterioration but fine in a Subaru. Several sections have water running across, so that could change quickly.
