Gate is chained. Probably can get around this gate thru American Creek FSR, but requires HC through a washout.

Gate is still there but was wide open. road is in fine condition and no snow except a little pile at the turnoff to continue up to the falls.

According to post in the 4WDABC Facebook group there is a locked gate near the entrance off of Highway 7 and a new unofficial looking sign posted that restricts public access as of July 1, 2024. No more details are known at this time.
