Road Bulletins
Increasingly deep waterbars to 2.5 km, followed by worsening tank traps to 4km - where I reached a trap I was unwilling to attempt with a SWB D5 and 10" body lift. Beyond this there are three deeper traps in the next 500m and finally a 2.5m deep one which is deeply eroded by a creek. Traps and a few downed trees continue to 7km.
Without high clearance would not attempt this road beyond 2-2.5km mark.
All of this was dug recently as the upper spurs are only a year or two old, the roadbed is in stunningly good condition, and there are still visible tread marks in the mud. Unclear why the road has been so aggressively deactivated when no replanting has occurred in the fresh cutblocks bordering Garibaldi Park.
Bring an E-MTB, I will be next time.

The first 1km or so is in good condition and after that there's a few decent sized water bars. The snow stopped us just before the 2km mark, but it's melting out super fast. Most of the road looked to be in good condition underneath the snow, but somewhere around the 5km mark there was a clearly washed out section. There was too much snow to say if it's a problem though. I forgot to grab any photos.
