Good condition until 4 km. Older tracked snow with some new snow on top. After failed attempt to reach lake on 1.6KM 260101, I planned a route to reach Coalmont Road to head home. However it got sketchy around 4 km. Road bed under snow felt rough. My Michelin X-Ice was struggling for grip. Wife (my conscience) was still awake at this point, so we turned around to head home the way we came. Will have to come back in the summer on ATs.
