Should be ok in most vehicles to Miner Lake Rec Site, after camping there we drove (rwd Nissan NV2500 high roof camperized van with A/T tires) to around KM25.5 but could probably have made it another KM or so, a 4x4 can make it to the lake at the end below Perkins Peak (we walked this section). There was a washout somewhere along the way that had been fixed & made easily passable, can't remember where exactly. Note there are other spur roads visible on satelite that may be possible to travel by 4x4 in this area.
