The gun creek fire has sadly affected a huge area of forest. Slim Creek itself is largely unaffected

Views on the way in
Good condition up to the bridge but did not drive beyond that. Some sections of road are bumpier around the gun creek fire zone but doable in a normal car with some careful driving

Easy 2WD for most of the road
This landslide where we stopped
Beginning of the road
Slim Creek was in 2WD drive condition until the bridge across Slim Creek itself. After which there were numerous deep muddy sections and minor deadfall. We stopped at a major landslide about 2.5km before the road terminus. Although some vehicles appear to be driving further.
