Road is compact snow and ice with some bare sections.
Numerous overhanging or leaning trees, with several across the road but passable with stock vehicles. Road closure past kilometre 83 due to Caribou closure. Bridges in good shape, with outdoor facilities at the west end of Carbon Lake Forestry Recreational area.
