Easy drive. AWD friendly. Biggest threat is potholes. Was able to drive it between 30-60km/hr no problem

Road has been decommissioned at end starting from west end of port renfrew. Full of potholes (4"-6" deep & 2-3 ft wide) & covered in fallen trees.

This things a highway, there was no gate coming from the Cowichan side as of March 2nd, 2025

Entire Gordon River Road from Port Renfrew to Lake Cowichan is in good condition, fine for 2WD
