Drove this to the junction with Branch 276 and parked - there's plenty of room there to turn around. Walked the rest of the way to the Chance Lake TH, which didn't take too long. The roadbed is rocky, but has held up well despite the lack of water-bars. The bush, however, is really growing in, so turning around would be very difficult except in a couple of spots. If you care about your paint, forget about it... There is a collapsing bridge just after the final switchback. Somebody drove across it in a Tacoma, but what's left is quite narrow and a bit frightening due to the degradation and adjacent hole. I'd not recommend it.
