Hourglass Rd, part of a reasonably popular alternative route between Tumbler Ridge and Grande Prairie. Not always kept open full-time in winter though sometimes used anyway. Watch for oil & gas traffic doing Warp 8 on blind hills. The km6-km9 section is close to the water table and often wet. The road 'ends' a little short of Boot Lake (w/ campground) where it joins the Noel Rd (PDR 281)
