Road Bulletins
Upper portion of road from Halfway Viewpoint to top was fixed recently and is in much better condition. Still best tackled with a 4WD, but brush has been cleared and road has been leveled.
Road got progressively worse towards the top last time we drove it in 2023. It's not bad up to the halfway lookout, but it got rough past that. Top section was officially closed due to washout but passable in good 4WD if you don't mind scratches from brush.
