Road Bulletins
Much improved access. Road has been fully repaired and is in great shape. The bridge at 5.5 km has been rebuilt as well.
The right branch at ~6 km that accesses the Lomas lake trail is rebuilt to about to about 550 m elevation too. Overgrown and washed out beyond that.
Gate was open all day but wouldn't trust it to stay that way. An easy approach on ebikes.
Didn't use it, but the left branch (shown) towards Mt Service also looks to be rebuilt, but not sure how far.

Permanently locked gate at the bottom. Some very large washouts that would make driving impossible, but the road is open and easily travelled on foot or bike until the river crossing at ~5.5 km.
