Mount Joan Spur - Bulletin
Sean Caulfield reported on: Apr 21, 2025
Slightly sketchy off camber section
Not too bad to start..
Very narrow, nowhere to turn around
This is the washout at the tributary to Roaring Creek just past the end as drawn
Mount Joan/Curran junction beyond the end of the road about 200m from parking
This old road is still driveable in 4x4 HC to the Mount Joan/Curran trailhead. Narrow & rough with some medium sized rocks & one short slightly off-camber section. Nowhere to turn around or park until the end as drawn here, impassable beyond except to maybe dirt bikes or quads who may be able to get to the next old junction where the hiking trails split

Woah, that's a rowdy looking off-camber section
I stopped to check out the off-camber section & decided it was better to drive ahead across it rather than reverse down the narrow steep hill. It wasn't that bad, easier than it looks in the photo
