TR700 actually begins well to the east of this and is strictly speaking a normal (albeit gravel) maintained public rural road, but is included here to illustrate the 'back way' from Alberta to BC in the area from the end of pavement. This saves considerable distance (if not always time) between Grande Prairie or Beaverlodge and Tumbler Ridge over going all the way up to Dawson Creek.
