[From Michelle S] - I was just there yesterday. Road is in decent shape. Last couple of km a little rough but totally doable in a Honda CRV. Trail is in great shape. A spectacular hike
[From Zachary L] - Hey! Went and skied Gimli on May 8th. Road to trailhead has been plowed and maintained all winter. Active logging on the FSR still. They are using RR9. The skin/walk up was mixed conditions. Had to take skis off to cross creeks, etc. It’s not a fun skin up anymore. Not a very fun walk up in boots, either, but it looked like somebody made it to the top with just boots on that date. See: https://www.facebook.com/groups/wkhikingaccess/permalink/7636361169746951
Should be no problem in AWD SUV to Gimli trailhead, could probably get a 2wd sedan or hatchback pretty close as well, or maybe even all the way with a confident driver. Steep(ish) hill before the trailhead, we saw a Subaru Impreza call it here & walk the last 1-2km. Plenty of chicken wire around.
