Road Bulletins

Landslide at the 41km mark
Typical road conditions
The crux of the road at around the 22km mark
One very narrow section with a massive drop off
Good condition to 21km as described by Kris. The first 4x4 section isn’t bad but there’s a worse one about 1km after and high clearance is a must. After that there’s a few more obstacles and one very narrow section of road, but it’s otherwise fairly smooth sailing to Grizzly Mainline. There is a major landslide at the 41km and the road is no longer accessible beyond. Could not get into see if the bridge is out over Whistlepig creek but based on satellite images and other reports it has been pulled.

Great shape up to km 21. Active logging, watch for trucks. Km 21 has a bit of an obstacle "4x4 only" (bit bumpy on the approach, a creek crossing, 2' rise out on the far side). Didn't go further.

[From Andrew Enns] - no snow on road and easily driven to Kookipi junction

Washout at 21km has long since been repaired and drivers are regularly making it to Grizzly Falls at around the 41km mark. See: https://www.facebook.com/groups/4wdabc/permalink/10159835244771009/ for more. Sean Reilly also reports: "Nahatlach was repaired enough to get access to the cabins. The road beyond is passable, but involves a slightly tricky water crossing, some snotty sections, and some minor rockfall and edge failures in the narrow section around 26-28km. "

[From James Wilson] - drove from Kookipi side and headed east. Conditions out from this point were great. Can’t speak to conditions west of Kookipi
