Drove again a second time in one week… the road has been fixed up even further and is in 2wd condition (if you can get there)
This road appears to be actively getting repaired or just recently repaired. Some heavy machinery on the road and I wouldn't count on it being open on any given day. They are actively logging in the valley it looks like. Except for 1 or 2 sections the road is in great condition. There's a gate on the bridge at the 6km mark that was open at the time.
