Road Bulletins
They are still working on the bridge at 22km over Mcgee Creek, it was closed the past few days but it was open for travel today. The only deal is you might have to wait abit. We drove the FSR to the 37km mark to the Treasure Mountain spur road. Good condition on the Tulameen FSR
I drove from KM0-Champion RPC50 (KM15.25). The road is well graded with the odd cluster of potholes that are easily driven around. No issues in my low clearance car. Plenty of heavy equipment at the start that may be for the pipeline work but it wouldn't surprise me if this road was very active with logging traffic on the weekdays. However, no logging activity was seen over the weekend.
I'm saying "good condition" thru to 40-42 kms, although past Tulameen Falls there are a couple muddy hills and a couple snow patches that have tracks down to gravel. At that point there is a shallow creek crossing (looks like the creek has washed out the culvert) and more snow on the road. People had definitely crossed, but it was more than my comfort level so I turned around.
Still a bit of snow in the staging area, some slushy, icey snow patches in the shaded areas of road. Went to 2km mark but didn't want to get stuck with my daughter in the truck. My truck is quite heavy also so I didn't want to take any chances
Drove from Coquihalla highway to Illal Creek (+/- 19km) Road was smooth as a babies bottom. Could drive a Ferrari on it!
