Road Bulletins

The spur has plenty of cross ditches of varying sizes. All you need is good ground clearance. The road is never really steep or particularly rocky, nor is it overgrown. We made it fine in a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. There was a Ford Escape at the trailhead, and a Subaru.

Large waterbars. 4WD medium/high clearance needed (manageable with Subaru Forester). Some areas of loose rock
Fisal Elstone reported on: Dec 23, 2023
10-30 cm of snow on the road, fast skinning conditions but many open creeks that required removing skis. Looks more like late October rather than late December up there. The branch 12 hiking trail has very little snow coverage.

High Clearance 4x4 required to make it to the trail head. Well maintained otherwise.
