At least 30 water bars of varying sizes. If you get the approach angle right and have decent ground clearance, you can make it up. The road itself is more dirt-packed, with some rockier sections. We made it up with no issues in a 2023 RAV4 PHEV and AT tires.

To be honest, if you can get past the water bars before the first lot at ~2km, the water bars after this point are the same. I don’t think sedans can make it to the first lot.

About in the same shape as before. Waterbars are manageable with 4wd, moderate clearance, and careful driving (it was okay in a Suzuki SX4). On the afternoon of 11/13/2024, there was about 10cm at 1180m, a dusting of snow at 1000m, and no snow at 900m. Certainly more now.

The spur has plenty of cross ditches of varying sizes. All you need is good ground clearance. The road is never really steep or particularly rocky, nor is it overgrown. We made it fine in a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. There was a Ford Escape at the trailhead, and a Subaru.

10-30 cm of snow on the road, fast skinning conditions but many open creeks that required removing skis. Looks more like late October rather than late December up there. The branch 12 hiking trail has very little snow coverage.

High Clearance 4x4 required to make it to the trail head. Well maintained otherwise.
