Pulled bridge
Bridge is still pulled, then alder covered briefly on the other side. Once on the Traverse section of road it's open and free of alder. We only walked it 1.7km before taking an old overgrown road for access to the Mount Jasper basin.

Statlu Creek where I crossed. So much deeper than I thought. At least the current wasn't bad.
[From Caro Coco] - Once I reached Statlu Creek, I found that the bridge had been taken out. Looking at the creek, it didn't look too too deep, so off went the pants and the shoes, and I crossed. Unfortunately, it was upper thigh deep, and VERY cold, as was the frozen beach on the other side, so I struggled with very painful frozen toes for a while as they were thawing. Beyond the removed bridge was a great road up until where I deviated on the way up, then it's more of a fainter footpath.
