According to Brian S. the upper reaches of this road are no longer accessible. An avalanche path has washed out the road at kilometer 7 and the bridge has been pulled at the 9.75km mark. The creek is apparently very challenging to ford during summer time glacial melt off. Beyond the bridge there is thick alder.
