Road Bulletins
Drove east to west from the Upper Flathead. Initial crossing of Squall Creek required a modest ford with a fairly steep but short exit on the west side to gain generally good road. Signs of recent logging around km 12. Unfortunately, the approach to the bridge over the Flathead River at ~km 11.5 has washed out. It appears OHVs or maybe highly specialized rigs have taken a steep bypass and forded the relatively substantial stream.
This road was used for harvesting activities in 2022, but it does not connect to the Flathead River FSR anymore, as the bridge over "Squall Creek" (note official BCGNO removed previous name of creek) has been out for some years now.
