Road Bulletins
Snow free up to the 39a spur. Some of the cross bars are quite huge now and a capable 4x4 is needed
Only made it about 300m up the road and parked at 400m elevation. Lots of small steep cross ditches. Should be no problem for any high clearance 4x4. My Subaru Outback was scraping on the first 3 so I called it. Other than cross ditches the road is in very good shape. First creek crossing at about .8km mark looks good. After that road covered in snow so no more info.
I’d say this road is right on the cusp of “heavily degraded”. If you have a 4x4 with high clearance it’s no issue at all, but a cross trek likely would not get through. Similar condition as to what Kelly reported last summer. Snow starts at 600m
A few small water bars near the start.
Rocky and somewhat eroded at creek crossing at ~ 480 m elevation (there used to be a bridge here but its long gone).
Otherwise in good shape to 35A junction at 620 m (as far as I went).
