starts off easy, but then water bars will prevent a low clearance vehicle from making it. no traction obstacles up to the creek crossing (where we crossed), so 2wd crossovers, even, should be okay

Road is in decent condition. Made it to the TH in a Hyundai Santa Fe (SUV) without bottoming out. Off camber portion at the beginning that wasn't bad. Some of the waterbars look bad but people put rocks down to help. I only bottomed out once on the way back because I was distracted and chose a bad line. There are a lot of people that park along the side of the FSR, but most of them could've made it to the TH so don't base your decision on the cars you see parked. Subaru forester and Rav 4 also made it to the TH

Good conditions with a slight off camber section at the start. Some waterbars but all typical for a FSR.

Similar to Caro's report, the road has several waterbars of various depths. No issue at all in a Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, but an SUV with less clearance may scrape. We did see a minivan at the trailhead, but the owner noted bottoming out multiple times.

The boulder that has previously been noted is nowhere to be seen, so presumably it was moved.

The road has some pretty deep waterbars that may not be suitable in an SUV. Drove to 1200m without hitting any snow. There is a large rock in the middle of the road at some points but even wide trucks should be able to get around it. It should be moveable with a tow strap.
Francis Bailey reported on: Apr 14, 2024
Snow line starts at around 1100m. That translates to 3km down the road but you could drive through a few of the patches until the 3.5km mark if you have a truck.

Road in good condition up to fork at 4.4 km. Not used above that as took left turn. No issues seen with road surface. Only difficulty is snow and ice coverage. Vehicles parked around 4km (above first bridge, before turn off / second bridge), some using chains and others not.
