Heaps of over growth, most of it is soft bush, but road still easily visible. Theres a few washouts that are nice little "rock gardens" to drive through. Made it with 10-11" ground clearance no problem, 4wd. Last time I did this trail in 2023, it was a lot more maintained than it is now.
Road is great up to the private property. After that it becomes more overgrown and 4x4 is required but the road remains in good condition until a washout around 9.5km. It is ok in the summer but impassable in the spring or when rain is heavy. The branch at 11km is rough until 800m where a washout has made the road very dangerous to pass.
Good condition to the turnoff to a gated private property just after 2.5 km. Gets a little overgrown and rougher after. Not too badly overgrown, but didn't see much reward in continuing, so gave up around 3.5 km. No washouts. Ended up with some pinstripes, but not sure from which spur or if it was even today.
