Comox Glacier approach road is in great condition, until it isnt, severe water bars which are high, and sharp both at the apex and the bottom will give vehicles without clearance and those with a long wheel base a lot of trouble. You want good approach/exit angles and clearance to get through without dragging some rocks. They also get bigger as you go up the road so if the first couple give you pause...
